About the Author In Heaven is For Real

After doing research I learned that there we many people that went into the making of this book. Todd Burpo composed the book. He is pastor of Crossroads Wesleyan and a volunteer fireman. He and his wife, Sonja, have four children: Colton is a teenager; he has an older sister, Cassie; a younger brother, Colby; and a very special sister he met in heaven, yet to be named.Heaven Is for Real is the true story of a four-year old son of a small town Nebraska pastor who experienced heaven during emergency surgery. He talks about looking down to see the doctor operating and his dad praying in the waiting room. The family didn’t know what to believe but soon the evidence was clear after one of their sons Colton told them about there expirences Todd knew he had to write a novel about this so him and his son worked hard to publish this book. I find the story behind the book very intresting.

New Book Heaven is For Real

I am very exited to start my new book heaven is for real. I have read many good things about this book and have read some reveiws on good reads. Many of my peers recomended this book to me in the past. The cover looks very appealing with the bright colors and I like that a little boy was telling the story along the book. I read the back of the book and it also seemed appealing to me.
When Colton Burpo made it through an emergency surgery, his family was overjoyed at his  survival. What they weren't expecting, though, was the story that he told in a month after—a story as beautiful as it was extraordinary, detailing their little boy's trip to heaven and back. This really made me want to read the book because I am very intrested in half death expirences.
Colton, the little boy, told his parents he left his body during the surgery—and  toold them exactly what happened when he was dead describing exactly what his parents were doing in another part of the hospital. He talked of visiting heaven and  told stories to people he met that were touched by his story.  I also read that  he told his parents descriptions and details of heaven that match the Bible exactly, though he had not yet learned to read. I find the descrioptions and the introduction of this book very intresting, therefore I am very exited to start the book.
